Embracing Opportunity

“When one door closes, another opens.”  We’ve all heard it.  We’ve all said it.  But whether we manage to walk through that newly opened door or remain staring at the closed door so long that we don’t even realize that a new one has been opened?  Oftentimes, when a new student walks through the doors of our studios, it is an amazing journey through a newly opened door.  While they may enter for different reasons, the one common thread, obviously, is yoga.  But why?  Whether the student is looking for Power, Restorative, Flow or anything in between, they are reaping therapeutic rewards for their efforts without even knowing it or intending on it.

Many students leave feeling refreshed and renewed and ready to take on whatever the day has in store for them.   Others leave feeling relaxed, mellow and calm and can go home and open up their refrigerator with a level head, rather than ravaging their snack cupboard.  While their experiences run the gambit, the therapeutic effects of yoga are vast.  So, don’t be afraid of a new experience, embrace it!  Walk through that door, it was opened for a reason.
